There’s a cure for your curiosity.  Create a hollistic rebranding of the Staedler-Leadbeater Apothecary museum in Virginia and expand the appeal of the museum to a new demographic. Student brief.
The primary inspiration for this design was based on the architecture of the museum and alchemical symbols. The grid based, stackable and flexible icon system was developed as a reference to the shelving system in the museum. Grid like shelves, and apothecary cabinets stacked to the brim, each containing various obscure and eclectic ingredients and oddities.

To compliment the grid system, a series of interchangeable icons were developed, inspired by ancient alchemical symbols, to relate to the heritage of the museum whilst also lending itself to a more contemporary visual aesthetic.
